"I captured this image on a macchiato stop while wandering the streets of Rome last summer. It's taken in the historical Caffé Greco. I was drawn to the pop of blood red and the texture of the marble statue. I like superimposing painted modern shapes against the old world charm of the space. The feeling of nostalgia was calling for an element of the future, so I added it."
